leads up to a Brazilian/Caribbean carnival they ignite the dance floor into a party of worldly vibes full of dancing rhythms.
Making waves over the past 6 years while calling the beautiful Sunshine Coast home performing at many venues, events, bars, restaurants, cafes, private parties and weddings.
The duo has also played a string of international shows receiving great acclaim in the French Caribbean and in New Zealand.
Raised on the sultry Caribbean Island of Guadeloupe by Brazilian and French parents, front-woman Melissa Cambon pulls down inspiration from her ancestry and performs original songs that reflects her wonderfully vibrant heritage.
Adding the rhythm to the duo, Isaac Crowley from the rainforest of FNQ brings his exploration of Latin rhythms while on backing vocal and rapping his hard hitting hip hop bars.
They will be starting 2025 performing at Woodford Folk Festival.

Over the years SOLUA duo projects as been expanding to a Band formation since 2019.

Mario Constanza Ninitto on the drums all the way from Italy holding down the Latin grooves, as been performing as a drummer and solo artist around QLD and Europe.
Lalilta Ramona Yagnik on pandeiro/ percussions/ vocals from India has spend years in Brazil exploring the Afro-Brazilian traditions such as Coco and Afoxé. Lalita as been sharing stages with many amazing worldmusic band at multiple festivals around Australia, adding tasty dynamic Brazilian flavours to every projects she part take.
Ravi Sangha on flute and saxophone, indian classical virtuoso as been performing in Orchestras over in Amsterdam, India and Australia . His Groovy enchanted Melodic sound had a joyful refine texture to the mix.
Melissa Cambon French-Brazilian Caribbean artist is the main singer and guitarist of SOLUA. With her smooth vocal melodies and strong unique guitar style, she performs a variety of her original songs composed in multiple languages.
Held strong by Isaac Crowley from the rainforest reggae town of Kuranda, holding it down on bass while spitting his own hard hitting hip hop conscience bars.
